PRISMA Workbench (PSW)

PRISMA Workbench (PSW) is an integrated workspace for distributed development teams.

Why is tool integration needed?access

PSW makes information sharing easier between partners without having to significantly change the current environment, tools and processes!
  • Often the tools used during software development process are disconnected on the tool level. However, in practice they need to be used together.
  • The tracking of connections between data (e.g. requirements and test cases) can be managed in PSW via its traceability feature. The connections can be used in reports to show e.g. requirements test coverage, or for tracking the consistency of work products.
  • The views in PSW enable inspection of data stored in tools’, but also provide notifications of important events and changes in the project. Such events can include e.g. changes in build status. The users are also able to see what has happened since they were last logged in.
  • PSW also provides communication support that can be used by the users for any purposes. The communications can be stored and tracked to work products for future reference.

Current PSW content

PSW allows configurable set of development tools to be tailored to individual project needs.
